Roots Realty is very experienced with assisting folks sell their home and we can help coordinate the next home purchase too. Initially this may seem very complicated and stressful, so we provide counseling and education for each of our clients to make these large transitions as smooth as possible.

Market Analysis
We do a comprehensive Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) specific to the size, location, condition and style of your home. This ensures we can help you set a list price that represents the top market value without pricing so high that your home won’t sell at all. We research all the properties in your area that have sold within the last few months. We will go inside houses, call other agents, and search the local multiple listing service database to be sure our report is accurate and complete.
Listing Your Home
We take high quality digital photos of your home & create full color property flyers on recycled paper. Your property will be listed for sale on the local Regional Multiple Listing Service (RMLS) using the photos and as much text, detail, & documentation as possible. This database is available to both Realtors and the public and the listings get disseminated throughout the internet via sites such as Realtor.com, etc. We display our For Sale sign on your property with a permanently attached property flyer. It is important that anyone interested in your property has as much information as possible, and we are available to respond to all requests for information.
Getting Realtor Feedback
We personally contact each Realtor who previews or shows your home to get feedback. This helps us to know how potential buyers are responding to your property. Most buyers look at many, many homes before purchasing and their agents can give us opinions about our price, how it compares to other homes, or any unforeseen difficulties during the showing.
Presenting Your Offers
We will present all offers to you in a timely fashion, handle all negotiations on your behalf but only with your directions, and discuss with you your options and potential consequences of your decisions.
Completing Your Sale
Once an offer is accepted we will send the contract to the Title / Escrow company who will handle the legal closing of the sale, we’ll monitor timelines with you, be available to let home inspectors, contractors, and appraisers into the property, and do anything else that comes up. We will keep you informed of the progress of your transaction at all times.
We will review your closing statement and be with you during the signing of your closing documents. (Due to Covid, currently the local title companies do not want agents present at signings, but we’re available by phone / text / email & we recommend you read the closing documents in advance of the signing appointment.) We’ll make arrangements for the transfer of keys to the buyer and we will continue to be available should you need anything else.
